Taboo on FX

Just watched the entire season 1. Tom Hardy is great in this show. Has anyone else seen this? I really thought it was well done.

It was good enough to keep me watching, but just. It just didn't seem to really go anywhere. Maybe it is the ADD in me but the amount of story that they actually went through could have (should have) been done in half of the number of episodes.
Tom Hardy is actually really good. I think that he is very under rated.
