Huh... I'd have thought they'd bump Trotman.. Else why have him in PIT?

From what I am hearing, Trotman will play tonight. Corrado brought up to be the 7th defenseman. Sounds like Hunwick is not ready to come back yet, either.

Dumoulin-Letang
Cole-Schultz
Maatta-Trotman

Those are probably the expected D-pairs for tonight, with Corrado up as the 7th.

Trotman and Corrado over Ruhwedel? Or was he hurt too?

Ha. Completely forgot about Ruhwedel, but I do believe he got banged up. Guess we will see tonight if it is Ruhwedel or Trotman in.

Actually, if you look, I still included Schultz in the lineup. So Trotman will either be with Cole or Maatta, and Ruhwedel will get the other.

Might be a good game to dress 7 D.

Last 2 games, Sprong has had no points, taken a penalty each game, and been a -1 each game.
Adam Johnson scored his first goal in the AHL last night.
Aston-Reese picked up 2 assists last night, his first 2 points of the season.
Ryan Haggerty played his first game back from injury last night and scored 2 goals.
After giving up 12 goals in his first 3 games, Jarry has given up 2 goals in each of the last 2 games.
Dominic Simon behind Sprong for points lead on WBS with 9, 2 goals (both on the PP) 7 assists.

Seems like Bengtsson is doing OK in WBS, 11g 8a and +4, most points by a D there, sure, some of the others have been recalled at times but, will he get a chance at the big club soon you think?

From what I heard or thought I heard being mentioned last night Hunwick is close to coming back, whatever that means, so unless the Pens lose another "D" I doubt it happens any time soon.

Penguins have signed former WBS/Penguins goalie Sebastien Caron to a PTO, and he will backup Andrew Peters in WBS tonight

https://twitter.com/WBSPenguins/status/948690495445913600

Caron practiced with the team last week when they were short and needed a goalie for practice. Penguins are apparently holding DeSmith out of the lineup because they don't know if they are going to need to recall him up to replace Jarry, and, the Penguins are going through goalies in the organization. I believe Caron will be the 8th different goalie to dress for WBS this season.

Anthony. Andrew is next on the list if they need goalie number 9.
