What would you like him to do differently on 5-3 goals against? Great lateral movement by the Bolts. The Gourde shot was a beauty, low along the ice at far post as the goalie is just starting to push off towards the other post. The only semi-questionable goal would be Pointe's 3rd goal, and I just say semi-questionable because it wasn't as tic-tac-toe as the 1st 2 goals.
Aside from John Gibson who is having an unreal season considering, I wonder who has faced the most high danger chances after him? Murray has to be up there.
Gibson had 124 high danger shots against coming into tonight. Murray had 69. However, in terms of HDSA per game, Gibson is 7.75, Murray is 7.67. However, Murray has given up 17 High Danger Goals. His High Danger SV% is .754. That ranks 60th out of 69 goalies, and only 3 of the 9 goalies worse than him have played more than 5 games.

Yes, no goal tonight is on him. How many games has Murray "won" for the team this year so far?
He is not living up to his contract.

I listened....
True. I thought of you after I posted lol
How do they extend Rutherford? Seriously?
Now you want to get rid of Rutherford. It's like if some of you aren't whining about something then you aren't living.
This team wins 2 cups in 3 years, starts the year a "dismal" 7-6 and everyone wants heads to roll.
Lol unreal.
The fact that this needs to be explained to you is sad. I won’t even do it.

But this team has fallen into the trap for to long of letting the stars win games for them. They need to play more as a team to win. Sully has his work cut out for him.

The duds listed above and the injuries to Brassard and Schultz are seemingly too much to overcome. The guys not chipping in have at least got to play even hockey.

Correct Arich. Especially when you’re a top heavy team like the Pens are, the depth signings need to hit for them to be a legit cup threat. This year, they haven’t.

You have a 42 year old that stunk last year and it was no secret. Odds are great that he isn’t rebounding here at that age. You have Grant that just isn’t that good. You have Sheahan who isn’t close to what he was last year. Rust stinks, Hagelin stunk. Sprong wasn’t put into too many situations to succeed considering the leashes others received. Johnson isn’t good and some refuse to accept it. Losing Schultz and Brassard hurts.
I’m not sure this is playing as a team thing but more of a we don’t have much depth thing.

As of now I believe we do. Don’t bank on them keeping it !
