Wait.
Now that Recchi is gone, who is giving out weekly allowances then?
Sydor must be hard-up with that tiny contract of his.

Shows off the muscles more.
My little brother is into the health food thing- whey protein, muscle milk, and all that crap. He's a really nazi about it. And he doesn't even play hockey or any sport or do manual labor. He just wants to look good.
GR just seems kind of relaxed and cool about it.
Recchi got the health pointers a bit too late.

That story about Badger Bob is true.
Larry Murphy once said that when he joined the Penguins, Badger made out a list of the best foods you should be eating at the time. The Banana was #1. Murphy noted how quirky that was and had joked about it ever since.

I'm not sure I'd want to say no to Gary Roberts, even if it was in a Whole Foods ("Yes, Mr. Roberts sir, I will eat that....please don't hurt me!!"

)
If the store had beer, then it would be one stop hockey shopping. The Whole Foods I went to on the outskirts of Ann Arbor, MI had a full aisle of microbrewed beers; while not all of them were organic (organic barley isn't difficult to produce, but hops are very susceptible to pests and need pesticide, so it's a royal pain in the a** to grow organic hops), there's not much more natural than barley, hops, yeast and water.

There is a liquor store right next to the Whole Foods, but I don't recall them having beer. Mostly wine.

That's correct...a "Wine & Spirits Shop" (apparently the "State Store" has too much of a negative connotation) doesn't sell beer.
There was talk of this same "Shadyside" Whole Foods trying to put in a cafe so that they can get a 6-pack takeout license (based on the attempts of the Sheetz in Altoona to do the same thing), but I think that fell through since you have to serve on premises.

Is this the same video they showed during intermission on the FSNP telecast during the devs game before thanksgiving? Rumor has it that the FSNP feed showed two LGPers chowing down on some arena fare following the piece on Roberts' healthy eating and said 'now, that's something gary roberts wouldn't eat'.

Organic foods:
+ No chemicals added for growth
- No chemicals added for growth, meaning natural fertilizer is used. In Mexico, that may mean people poo. People poo = E. coli O157.
Sorry, the Epidemiologist comes out some times.

2) Organic food can kiss my butt! Pay twice as much for half the food... yeah, sign me up!

Yeah, it was rather odd. 20+ years as a professional athlete and you would think he would know the basics of protein source foods.
