Would someone going to the game please remind Sarah that the anthem is not a dirge?

She's 3-1. She can sing it Chipmunk-style with that record.

I think maybe it's all part of the plan. It gets the other team to be very contemplative and mournful for the game and the Pens reap the rewards! Muahahahaha

By the way...clutch word. One of my favorites and it's not used nearly enough.

Agreed, she can do whatever the heck she wants as long as she brings home the wins. I see her and Jimmer are kind of like Fleury and Sabu at the begining of the season. Fleury is obviously the better of the two... but he wasn't on his game while Sabu was bringing home the wins even though it was seldom pretty.

By the way...kind of random time to mention this...the anthem singer standings are my favorite part of this site. I don't know why, but it puts a smile on my face. The sad thing is, I know we all have the same reactions upon seeing the Anthem Singer for the night because of those standings. It's fantastic. Top notch idea there.

Mario Galaxy is incredible. Guitar Hero III is good but I'm not sure its worth buying unless you are really into those games.

Smokin' hot, IMO. Then again, she's also seventeen, which makes me feel like a pervert for noticing the hotness. Yet another reason to prefer JJ: no pesky ethical confusion.

Time for a poll. Which one of these two milestones is achieved next?

her upcoming shows are listed as penguin games; I think she is the one that always ends by an Elvis "thank-you, thank-you very much!"

they always try to have JJ when a canadian team is in town, he does a great rendition of O Canada !

I will never look at JJ the same after I saw him with BE Taylor at halftime of the Steel game last week.

What is next for JJ, signing backup for Micheal Bolton?

Yeah, that kind of annoys me. I'm cheering the anthem and the country, not you so much, Toots.

Yes, I used the term Toots. 8-)

Why do many Pens fans cheer when JJ is announced as the anthem singer? It doesn't make sense. BE Taylor is universally mocked whenever his name is brought up at Pens and Steel games.
