Very tempting and really thinking about doing Game 7... but looking through this.. what is the policy with Ticketmaster if game does not take place? You get full reimbursment? I couldn't find the language that shows this.. any help would be appreciated..

Hi Jeff,
You absolutely get refunded...no worries there.

To me, this is a no brainer.

Yes, you get a refund.
http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/cancelled.htmlWhen Ticketmaster issues you a refund for a ticket, it will issue a refund of the ticket's face value paid (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), the facility fee and the convenience charge, unless the ticket was sold through TicketExchange in which case Ticketmaster will issue a refund of the ticket price you paid on TicketExchange and the convenience charge (if any) you paid on TicketExchange. If the event was scheduled to occur in Canada, then the order processing fee will also be refunded (but not for events that were scheduled to occur in the United States). In no event will delivery prices or any other fees or amounts be refunded. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. If a credit card was used to make the refunded purchase, then only that actual credit card will receive the credit for the refund. Ticketmaster will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed event.

Oh so very tempted with the possibilities.. The con's don't come close to out weighing the pro's...
I just have to pull the trigger and do it.. but looking at everything.. if I can't go.. still a huge investment possibility... plus going to a Game 7 Stanely Cup final.. we all dream of having that experience as a hockey fan..[/quote]

For those that have placed orders, have you received a confirmation that the tickets are yours? Seems like it'd be pretty easy to match up season ticket holder names.

That was my thought behind the $700+ purchase for game 7!

Shhhh.
[EDIT] My credit card was charged and I've already printed the tickets. So, they are mine as of now. But, I guess they could always invalidate the tix.
It is a bit surprising that Detroit gets less fan support than the Pens. Apparently, this sale was intended for STH who did not purchase the full playoff package.

Speaking of "the Joe" and the Wings.
Anyone else notice how feaking lame the crowds have been at their playoff games??? It sounds like a regular season game in there! Even after a goal or a good save by Osgood they give a nice golf clap and sit back down.
I swear they are so spoiled from all the winning over the years that they can't even get amped for playoff games!

It happened here. There's no reason it couldn't happen there again like it did in the late 90's. Too many people who go because it's the "in" thing to do or too many corporate seats.
