Ok, I'm back - the Pens won, and I get no dap? Wuzzup?

Postby Peter on Sun Feb 12, 2006 6:10 pm

Um, I go all the way to Raliegh - which is pretty ugly by the way - and get the pens a win against the best team in the league, and nobody gives me any dap. Geeze.

I want dap. Or is it dapp?

Good job!!

Way to bring home a win!!

Seriously, that is great. That is a distance to travel. And whether the game was an incidental part of the trip or not, glad you got to see a win on your "road game".

Good stuff.

I would give you dap............if I knew what dap was. Sounds like an Amish ritual. Perhaps I should send some soap and a hammer. :D

I have some Dap hair gel, if that is what you want. I can mail it to ya. Seriously though, glad you got to see a win. Hope the Canes fans treated you alright. You are now the new good luck charm.

The canes fans wouldn't hurt a flea. I was more obnoxious than all of them combined, and I'm pretty quiet.

As for me being the good luck charm, never thought I would hear those words. You obviously don't know my board history.

Come on I want more dap. wait, maybe it's dab:

dab: Give your friends a form of a handshake by hitting one fist on top of the other and then alternating.
Example: Give ya girl some dab, phool. {http://www.slangsite.com/slang/D.html}

I imagine it is used for skeet shooting.

One man holds a rifle while the other man points and yells "skeet, skeet."

Dap makes glazing and contact cement and caulking products. I am not sure why you would want anyone here to give you some, but I suppose they make great stocking stuffers.

The urban dictionary huh? Sounds more like listing of how to speak like a un-educated ******.

Seriously, if this crap is the future of america, we are all doomed.

Definition 10 seems out of place. Pretty funny stuff, especially when combined with the "rifle" example provided earlier.

I really am sorry I asked.

what were you wearing?

Postby penny lane on Mon Feb 13, 2006 9:32 am

TV showed a person wearing a steeler cap(gold) & penguin jersey,
maybe and #87. Do you have glasses & were you drinking a beer?
You really don't have to answer any of these to protect your privacy
but TV showed this person after a goal ... just wondering.
See you didn't need that paper bag after-all. :P

I'd love to go on an away trip; must be fun. Of course I want to
travel to Toronto or Ottawa when pens in the playoffs!

Okay back on track.... We drove up to the Pens/Canes game from Ft Stupid (Stewart) GA.... I'd have to agree with you on Canes fans.... they were rather bland in our area also.... we sat up in the 200's and I think my husband who knows squat about hockey had more life in him than those people.... Coulda just been the beer though :?

I took about 20+ pics of the game but don't have any clue how to post them

Well, if you talk like that, and use those terms on a regular basis, then yes..... you are. Or, you seem to think its cool to act like one.

And about 75 percent of america would agree with me.

Penny,

I was not the crosby guy. I was sitting in the very last row in the nose-bleed seats. I had a blue pens jersey on. There were a considerable amount of pens fans though.
