I particularly like the Thrashers jersey, and the Flyers.

I'm all about those Montreal Jerseys with the stripes. Why would they bring those back? Who in their right mind would want to buy that jersey? After all isn't the point of the alternate jersey to sell more jerseys?

They're celebrating their 100th anniversary. Neither of their thirds will probably stick around past the season.

I realize that, but they are not using their original jersey, they are from 1915-1916 and 1912-1913. And the striped jersey is still hideous. They might only be sticking around for this year, but they are still hoping to sell them.

And believe it or not people probably will buy them. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that the number one decider for them in choosing these jerseys appears to be to celebrate their history while just selling jerseys would be secondary.

I always like the Chicago black jerseys.

Carolina's is ok, but they are hampered by the team name.

The Senators' is weird. The letters go the wrong way to me and make it just look like random letters.

I want a coyotes jersey. They look awesome. The canes jersey seems really crowded with the stars added to the bottom. They probably could've done without them.

edit: sharks have a good one and the blues look surprisingly good to me

Uh, well I don't know how bad the Habs striped jersey will really look in the flesh - remember that LCD's tend to create more contrast than there is in real life (especially with whites), and also that the colors will probably be softened somewhat by the manufacturing.

Still hideous, but just some food for thought.

All of the ones that were meant to be "throwbacks" (except the Habs) look good. I'm very unimpressed with the rest, except maybe the Kings

I can't see how any color combination could save that pattern.

most of those jerseys are weak. Lets just do a solid color and write our name on the front.
What is the purpose. Any team that went back to an earlier jersey is ok, all the others are a waste. Most notable from this category are the bolts, sens, yotes, dallas, and LA.

I agree. I hate the Senators', Kings' and Blues' jerseys. Most of them I love though; very old school, which is great.

I agree. Someone else mentioned the letters looking like they go the wrong direction. I thought the same thing. In general I'm not a fan of letters on the front of the jersey. Too much like baseball and very unimaginative. I prefer the more throw-back styles like the Pens, Canucks, etc.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen letters put in that positioning, diagonally, right-to-left, upward. That's just too awkward and goes against the norm, I.E. diagonally, right-to-left, downward.
