That Crosby and Malkin both are getting SH icetime.

That Crosby deliberetly seem to be shooting more.

That Staal on a line with Malkin allows Malkin to be agressive on faceoffs and know his replacement is better than him at it.

The Pens third line consisting of Cooke, Fedetenko and Talbot.

That Dupuis reportedly is working on his shot.

That Pesonen is ok with playing in the AHL while being ready for a call up.

How Satan reportedly have been good at finding open spots and already shown chemistry with Crosby.

And, finally, that I'll be watching the Pens first or second game live.

Can't wait for this season to begin. Drop the puck already!

I agree with André in many respects.

I think the penalty kill will be even better. I see Malkrosby playing pk early in games and if they score, lookout loretta. Don`t want to see them later in games unless the Pens need one.

The Malkin - Staal faceoff is interesting.

Sab did look good, and Meloche has been blowing smoke about him of late. Not something you would normally say about a backup.

Orpik was hitting people as was Cooke.

Satan looks really good on the PP.

Dupuis needs to really practice hard on his shot prep. He has time to shoot, but does not get very good results.

That Crosby deliberetly seem to be shooting more.

This simple fact will add about 20-25 points to his totals this year, and not just in goals. When teams realize that they'll have to defend against Sid shooting the puck too, he's going to be even more dangerous. Shorthanded time will boost that as well, as long as he doesn't block shots with his feet or face.

Low on the totem pole of Like, but Cooke has a knack for being between the circles and getting involved in plays that aren't supposed to happen - in the good way. Scrum in the corner, Max and some opponents scraping for it, puck comes floating out, there's Cooke, not out of position, just looking for a free spot. Nice.
