I think he will make a difference at least in shots. He isn't afraid to shoot the puck.

i really dont like cooke on the fourth line.. but its starting to look a lot like the last few years when we had an over abundance of third liners and not enough high quality top 6. I would like see a few of them packaged with a pick to bring in a top winger thats already signed and that we could afford, someone in the 5-6 mil range (so no gaborik).. much like colby and EC were last year

I hear ya. I hope they beat the crap out of the Flyers on the ice and on the scoreboard.

why does therrien still put gill with scuderi?

why on earth would you put your two slowest defensemen on the ice at the same time? it's absolutely absurd that he would use those two as a pair.

AND....matt cooke shouldn't be on the 4th line. at this point talbot and cooke work VERY well together and you break them up too?

fedetenko should be on the 4th until he proves he belongs on a top 3 line. cooke has already proved this.

What have Talbot and Cooke done together to support that statement?

What has Fedetenko done in three games that he should bump Cooke from the third line? Fedo and Cooke each haven't registered a point but at least Cooke has hit everything in site the 1st three games and provided engery for the checking line. Fedo just been a passenger on each line he's been on (as has Dupuis).

To be fair to Fedotenko. I can't name 1 forward that has played good to date. Fedotenko has played OK, hitting bodies, working hard....Talbot has been AWOL as has Dupuis and Cooke...I loved that 3rd line on paper too...

Fow now, Dupuis is one of the better options. He at least knows the system and might actually show up tonight. Feds can keep working at it in practice and earn his way on a top 2 line. Hopefully Kennedy gets at least some time on top 2 lines.

Fedotenko hasn't hit a d@mn thing. He's accounted for 3 hits in three games while Cooke has been credited with 16 hits.

No Dupuis on the first line! I can't believe he makes $1.4 million. Decent guy to have on the team, but I wouldn't want him to see top six minutes on any kind of regular basis.

This could work, but you likely won't see it:

Kennedy-Crosby-Satan
Staal-Malkin-Syko
Fedex-Talbot-Cooke
Dupuis-Mantis-Godard

I like that first line. Kennedy def. deserves a shot!

I like Rico Fata(Dupuis) on the 4th line too.
