Well, Kovalchuk has one of the best one timers in the league, in my opinion. At least, he scores about two goals with it every time he plays the Pens. And to be fair, Kovalchuk is a big man and he has laid out quite a few people in the corners.
Unfortunately, he's one of those "plays-if-he-wants-to" players. I'd be cautious if there is any truth to this (highly unlikely).
EDIT: Plus, he's a righty. So dangerous.
