If Osgood gets the Win...

Postby maudineormsby on Mon Nov 10, 2008 9:51 pm

...He'll pass Tom Barasso for 14th overall in wins. And he'll do it against the Pens. Not cool.

For a guy who's spent half his career warming the bench, his stats are mind boggling. He'll have HOF numbers by the time he retires but has spent most of his career gaining the starting job then losing it again.

Yeah he isn't gonna play. Conklin with a shutout, Hossa with a trick.

What would be worse, a Win by Osgood or Conklin? I think either way both would upset us all around here. Any points by Hossa will just be that much more depressing.

People will be glad for Conks, no one blames him since the goaltending situation here was no good for him. The Hossa haters will be devastated if he scores though.

Yeah, I just played this game out on NHL2K9 earlier. Pens win, 4-2. Goals by Fedotenko, Crosby (shorthanded), Staal & Satan.

I still haven't yet played the Islanders game yet. I was running to the beer distributor and didn't get back in time to play it before the game on Saturday.

I don't think anyone would argue that you didn't have your priorities straight though.

man i hope whoever is in net the pens just play their best game possible. like the third against the islanders only for the entire 60 minutes and they just completely bury them.

Tomorrow night certainly would be a great opportunity for the Pens to play a complete, disciplined game and prove that they're still an elite team.

Osgood or Conklin peppered for 6 goals and Hossa has to leave early because of an "undisclosed injury"

I loved Game 5.

When Talbot scored, I screamed, "I love that little French Canadian man!" several times, very loudly. All the windows were open and it was after 11:30. None of the neighbors ever said anything so I'd like to believe that's because they knew what I was yelling about.

I live near Detroit and read the Free Press and Detroit News regularly - both the writers seemed to think that Osgood would start against Pittsburgh.
