Fleury's pads

Postby NYPensFan on Tue Nov 11, 2008 3:38 pm

I notice that Fleury has been sharp ever since he broke in the white pads. I guess that Ottawa fan eye doctor did us a real favor when she wrote to him. He was good before but his confidence really went up when he started playing with them and was able to stop more pucks.

fixed. thanks.

did Fleury buy another house?

oh... his pads.

I always liked Sabu's old ones. they were all white and his mask was painted like the old-time hockey mask (of the Jason Vorhees slasher movies). I don't like his newer stuff.

And certainly not a Pens fan... I think she was interviewed before the Ottawa-Pens series and was hoping she didn't lose it for the Sens.

Fortunately for the Doc, the Sens did enough to lose that series to factor in Fleury's pads!

I actually loved Sabu's Winter Classic gear (pads, helmet, etc), but he never got to use them. This is weird, but I felt really bad for him...

There is a female hygene product joke here somewhere, I'm just too scared to say it.

I'm sure the pads have helped a bit, but they haven't helped improve his positioning and ability to play the puck.
