Staal's a bust. He can't play in this league. They should send him down to Wilkes Barre.

Big Game Staal

Postby pittsoccer33 on Tue Nov 11, 2008 9:46 pm

Wow. Have you ever seen a player who has that kind of extra gear when it comes to the big times games?

I hope is starts getting up like that more often...

I love all all the staal supporters are going to be saying staal is the greatest evaaarrrr now. Still doesnt change the fact that after this year he probably doesn't fit on this team.

Trade Staal

Postby Mongoose87 on Tue Nov 11, 2008 9:54 pm

After a game like tha,t we'd better trade him while we still can get something for him. Don't want to get stuck with him, like Fleury.

Regardless of what he did tonight, why does he not fit on this team after this year?

The 7 yr/50 M contract for Fedotenko?

BTW: Props to Ruslan for tonight's goal. Good to see.

Does Staal have a brother on the Red Wings or did one of his relatives die?? What happened tonight? Is he 18 again?

It is kind of funny... signing Hossa long term would have most likely meant Staal couldn't fit in under the cap long term... he certainly upstaged Marian tonight.

He sure made Pavel "Selke" Datsyuk look foolish in OT. That was a Selke caliber pllay right there.

Enough with the "trade Staal" talk. This is just getting ridiculous. He's done a good job, and he's only 20. Not every 20 year old is going to play like Crosby or Malkin. This was definitely a confidence-boosting game, and I think he'll do well from now on, and hopefully be rewarded with a contract here in Pittsburgh
