Probably not. They are still one heck of a team.

Exactly. It was a regular season game in November. Not game 7 of the Cup finals.

Yes, it was a regular season game but surely this could affect Detroit's psyche when they play the Pens again.

There were people in the GDT complaining that MT used his timeout on the 5-3. It was worth it. Yeo knew how to get Zetterberg out of the picture. The Penguins had all the momentum, so even if MT had the timeout, it was still 50/50 on whether or not to call it. On one hand, you have all the momentum, on the other, you have tired players.

That really surprised me especially when Crosby and crew were really gassed. I know that Osgood was starting to fall apart as every shot he had rebound trouble and was scrambling, but that TO was a real gift. Zigs made the Wings really pay for that TO too. Otherwise, Babcock's TO is likely heralded as a great move for "settling down the team and prepared for the faceoff scenarios, etc. etc."

I did say ONE OF THE WORST, that one... well tough to argue that.

Sounds good. I just think they have a veteran team, that just won the Stanley Cup, and I think has gotten better. These things don't bother them. Even if they lose Feb 8th to the Pens, I don't think this game has any affect on them. Also, it will not ruin any of their remaining 67 games.

They are a very good team.

I think the Home Opening loss to the Leafs stung alittle... Raising the Cup, Game one of the season they are trying to repeat in, in walks the lowly Leafs, and BANG they lose. Good Times...Good Times.

I loved that moment. I still get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking about it.
