Just an FYI on this, if you're planning on coming up here and going to cooper's because of anything you remember it being, save the trip. The food has gone way down hill. They still have the crazy beer selection, but the food is very bleh these days.

Relative to what for seafood in the area? Curious people want to know

I don't believe I compared it to anything else, you did.
As for seafood around the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, there's a red lobster a mile away. Coopers is a drive if you aren't from the area, about 20 minutes away in Pittston or a 30+ minute jaunt through the construction zones on 81 to Scranton.
There's a few decent seafood places in the metro area (Harbour House in Scranton being one), but nothing immediately available in the general vicinity of the arena, or that's convenient to go to before a baby Pens game.
The point of my response was that Cooper's has terrible food, and it's generally been accepted as such in the area for the last 5 years, at least.
