Tonight - Christmas Hangover or........

Postby offsides on Fri Dec 26, 2008 4:34 pm

After having two days off and enjoying the Holidays, what will they do tonight? I think they are going to come out and play a complete game for a change and dominate New Jersey, but that is just me.

Other thoughts? :?:

Win. It fits the pattern for the last 3 weeks.

I won't share my thoughts because I don't want to jinx them... but suffice it to say..... What I'm envisioning won't be pretty

They'll play better but lose again.

Lose because it lets the whining reach an unhitherto imagined new crescendo.

I am never any good at predicting scores and\or players. I just think they are going to realize it is on them (the players) to put forth the effort needed to win hockey games. IMHO they have more then enough talent on this team already. They just need the heart and desire to play a complete game and win. They need the kind of effort I saw yesterday on FSN watching some of the classic Pens games, just awesome. No excuses about calls or injuries, just fight through it and leave it all on the ice. I also really enjoyed having the added bonus of hearing Mike Lange calling a TV game again. :pop:

I just want an effort. If they lose 3-2 but play well, so be it. If they win by the same score, great!

I don't know, but I'm really pumped up for this game. I've been waiting for it all day. Hopefully the players are too.

I say the turnaround starts tonight. but then again ive said that about a few other games too. :)

I'd love to rattle a few wins off and take the home and home from the B's, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that. I wanna see the team respond to Therrien's presser
