I think Crosby has finally arrived as an alite player in the refs eyes because he completely instigated that scrum with Forsberg. The interference call was crap though.

Our PK looks good, but you can't give up this many and expect a shutout.

Staal is quietly playing good. He reminds of the way Mario skates.

Being the bridesmaid last year in so many times in games gives me the jitters. I will say I have been entertained tonight by this team.... No matter what the final score is.

I agree, this is a team that will catch other teams off guard but will still get beat by teams who have more ta;net when they bring their A game. I just don't ever want to be dissapointed by a lack of effort and this teamisn't built to quit.

I know, it's like I came home from work, downed a sixer and fell asleep and it's still only 6:00 and I am dreaming. :D

A lot of big plays by guys that have been bashed all offseason. Melichar with a goal. Fleury is huge in net. Oulette is having a nice game. And it is 4-0 right now against the hated Flyers. Oh yeah, Gonchar has made some nice plays tonight also. I can't wait to see this team at full strength -- the Malkin era has yet to begin.

The Pens have to cut down on the shots on goal and the amount of penalties they are taking. Can't do this all year.
