This is pro hockey.
Mili-seconds is the difference between a goal and a shot that's stopped by the goalie.
Colby should have shot that puck as soon as he got it on his stick. If he had it would have been a goal.

More great PK work from Malone. Easily his best game of the year.

I'm hardly stoned, been drug tested since 1980 and fit for duty or tested every morning.
So now have you ever played this game?, even as a lacky? I have a tremendous respect for the skills these guys have, and understand the way the ebb and tide of a game goes. No matter what the skill level.

I see what you guys were saying. Staal is a big, big kid. He was bigger than the two Isles he was fighting with.

Look at Johnny V on the backcheck. Very solid game tonight.

Good work at Malkin starting the rush up, and then playing good support defense against the counter-rush.

WOW! How lucky is Army?!? He started last year in the minors and just had a shift with Crosby and Malkin at the same time.

We still have OT, but you're right. Isles shouldn't have gotten a point after the way the first period went.

How sweet would it be if Malkin got an OT GWG?

Yes, I've played hockey. I understand that the worst player in the AHL could school me in a game while blindfolded. These guys are have tremedous talent.
I was making an observation on a hockey messageboard. I'm not going to get into a stupid arguement with you over nothing.
Pens lets win this in OT!!!

Well, the refs just missed a blatant pick on the Isles seconds into OT.

That is really the only thing I miss about the old board. Then again, I think we have more trolls now than we did then but that is probably due to the growing popularity of the board.
I'll be around school and I'll hear kids talking about LGP.com, it brings a tear to my eye.
