NIN wrote:I beleive that Broduer actually instructs his team on how too shoot vs. opposing goalies. They don't put too much on their shots because they know that Marc-Andre's superior reactions will kick the rebounds out of scoring threat range due to that whole every action has an equal and opposite reaction thing. SO by just making sure they get it too the net with some obstruction they can pounce on soft rebounds in the slot.
The awnser to that is boxing them out, and picking up on the rebounds quickly.
I never thought of that angle. I bet alot of goalies, have instructed their teamates what to do against other goalies, through the years.

Sidney Crosby is just a little good.
My guess is that 99/9% of the rest of the NHL would've never thought to get down that low to get that shot off.

Holy crap. Where did they learn that move? 3-1 Pens, Staal slots home an empty-netter after great passes by Recchi and Ekman.

Not to take anything away from Staal, but it would have been harder for him to screw that up than to score.

If Shero sends Staal down someone should beat him about the breast, chest, neck and head!

I hope Shero seen Staal fight for a puck behind his own net and then skate it out of the zone himself.
