Great story. MUCH envy. I have run into hockey players at bars and said hello and even hung out with Kevin Dineen at a bar here in Portland after he was named coach of the Pirates and it was cool as hell. Definitely something to remember.

He saw me fumbling around in my pocket while searching for my wallet. He could sort of tell that I couldn't find it by the embarrassed look on my face when the lady called my number for the foot long roastbeef I had ordered.
Being the great guy Ole 66 is, he gladly paid for my late lunch, and even topped off my gas tank!! I thanked him about ten times then asked about Talbot meeting a fan in Carolina. He replied, "Oh ya, those guys got trashed on top shelf Scotch all night at some dive bar in the bible belt. I think he's even giving the dude his parents season tickets next year. They just clicked like that."
I said thanks for clearing that up for me, I gotta go type.
My batteries were dead, and there was no one else around to get a photo. As soon as I turned around, the Wawa people locked their door so I couldn't even ask them to snap just one shot.
Man, I'll never forget my day at the Wawa...
I laughed

Wawa's roast beef sub is awesome
WaWa > Sheetz
The story is made up IMO due to the lack of a camera phone.

I like WaWa because it has PNC ATM machines.
The food is better at Sheetz but the drinks are better at WaWa IMO

Sheetz has surcharge-free ATMs no matter what bank you have.

Pretty crazy story. I'd say that it's so good that I actually hope it's true. Someone will have to let me know how the investigation goes...

I believe it.
Crosby doesn't go out to bars because he can't in Pittsburgh and Canada. In Raleigh at an empty old timers bar he can be left alone and enjoy a drink with the guys.
More often then not when I'm in a new town with a group of friends we look to chat up a local or two. There was a large group of them what do they care if one more tags along.

So i live in NJ, work in NYC, but went to school in PA. Sometimes when its like 2-3 in the morning after a night of some good old fashion drinking i get hungry and break out the i really could go for a shmiscuitz right now, and all my friends are like huh? what the (insert your favorite word here) is a shmiscuitz.
My personal favorite has always been the shmizcuitz with double cheese and double bacon, two of those and a large fountain soda always was a good end to a night

I never used an ATM at Sheetz, but I guess I will start!
