Therrien should know better than to think a passive box is going to work against this team.

Or not... You can't let passes go through the middle of the ice and expect to have much success.

Methinks I'm becoming a fan of only playing the Sharks twice every three years.

2nd worst road PK did not get any better on that sequence. MAF could'nt challenge the shooter because of all the passing options. Nice shot too.

No one's taking cheapshots. Is Cairns going to fight everyone that checks him?

For all of you worried about the cap down the road, when Whitney thinks he is worth more than $1.2 million just say Letang or Goligoski and you'll feel better about keeping players who will help us win playoff games.

That and Malkin is trying to fight through them. He'd drawing a defender to him and taking him out of the play, eventually that will create a 2-on-1 down low for Crosby and Armstrong. It's hockey, people need to deal with it.

For real... if you don't want a team to hit your players cleanly, then only let them play in practice with a red jersey.

Sharks are playing him the rigth way. It doesn't mean that the Pens have to allow it. Physical deterrants help (Cairns)

Taking penalties to try and send a message to the other team that they should stop landing clean body checks on Malkin seems kinda silly. But what do I know?

Actually, there's nothing the Pens can do about it. If the Sharks want to hit him, they will. Cairns taking one of them off the ice for 5 minutes won't change anything.

I think our young Russian superstar is starting to realize the honeymoon might be over. He looks a little frustrated.

Turn on the radio (105.9) - it's in line with TV for a change.

Crosby is trying to force the puck to him or leaving some odd drop passes to get him a goal. I think SJ might be the best team they've played so far and those passes won't be there for Malkin after Crosby leaves them because the defense is too good.
