Ruutu does not look happy on the bench. Not sure why he gets so little icetime.

That and the NHL needs to figure out what style of play they want...there seems to be a lot of clutching, grabbing, and whatnot the past three games, especially on Malkin and Crosby. A lot of sticks flapping around.


Noticed this in the Anaheim game, too...some of these idiot refs have slipped back into that ugly form we saw last year where they refused to call stuff like this on Sid because he was a rookie and for some reason, they treated him as if he had to earn the benefit of these calls. And this was going on long before he worked up his reputation as someone who complained to the refs too much.

Hopefully, Walkom is in the building tonight.

Wow...these guys are brutal. If what Welch did to Selanne the other night was a penalty, Staal getting tripped there definitely was, too.
