Seemed to work well last year.

Was Sykora with the Rangers whenever they went?

Wasn't Sabourin cut right before the West Point trip?

That's the real reason they need to go back this year.

In the article Ray Shero talks about the penguins having
unfinished business at West Point; after their night military
workout the penguins couldn't hold their practice the next
day for the cadets...so they are going back to repay the academy.
That is learning by doing & being...all class by R Shero & penguins.

Of course Ray Shero not giving out any details of the fun
the penguin players will have in upstate NY. :P

Malkin didn't make the trip because of his injured shoulder. And I think most cuts were already made at that point so WBS guys weren't there. Were Christensen and Talbot at WBS at that point? I don't remember. And of course Roberts wasn't there either. We'll see whether he makes the West Point guys cry uncle.

One of those West Pointe guys are going to try to get into some sort of stare down with Gary Roberts. Gary Roberts won't be the one afterwards with wet soiled pants.

wonder if the SEALS would do this for the west coast teams?
I believe that training would have them all ringing out.

Gary Roberts will have the drill sargeant pissing himself.

Gary Roberts was going to do the West Point training in the offseason, but he didn't want to get soft.

Gary Roberts puts on his pants one leg at a time, just like every other man...his shirt is a different story entirely.

you can cut off Gary Roberts' arms and legs and he would still have the best torso in the NHL

Gary Roberts can hit someone 200 yards under water

West Point isn't upstate. It's downstate. I grew up in the Hudson Valley.

Upstate is defined as where you see signs in French (near the Canadian border).

Some people wear a wristband that says "WWJD" or "What would Jesus do?". Rumor has it that Jesus wears a similar wristband, except that it says "WWGRD"

Gary Roberts is just the best there is. There is no way around it. I mean he gets up and the morning and pisses excellence!

Ladies, gentlemen, Gary Roberts puts his pants on one leg at a time, the only difference is once he gets them on he makes gold records.

No surprise here, I was fully expecting them to go back. Lets hope it works as it appears to have worked from last year.
