Please no. As much as Jags did for the Pens back in the 90s, I don't want him and his surly attitude on the current Pens.

I think it would be a good signing if he doesn't go over 4 mil a year.

If we can't get Hossa, Jagr wouldn't be a bad 2nd choice. I believe he made 6mil last year. If we could get him for around that price for 2 years, which is how long he says he wants to play in the NHL, do it.

Great player, but he'd ruin everything that's been built in that room for the past three years.

If you don't think that matters, then I can't bother trying to convince you otherwise...

 This CANNOT be true!!!!!!!!! The baby who yelled at Sid to "stand up" during the playoffs?!!!!!!!! What a nightmare this would be . . . there is no way Jags is going to play 'TEAM' under Sid and Geno!

Lets get right to the point. This is the only guy that can come close to replacing Hossa. Maybe Naslund. This is great news. Don't start about attitude. Most of the greats in any sport have some prima donna in them.

Yea. I read that before. However, maybe he changes his mind and decided he wants to retire with a bang and retire as a winner. If that's the case, Pittsburgh is more than ready to welcome back number 68.

It would be unreal to once again, hear John Barbero announce Jagr's name in the home opener.

TIOPS saying the offer may be in the 2 year, 10million range. Not a bad price. If this is true, it leads me to believe Hossa is officially out of the picture. I don't think this offer would be available to Jagr if Hossa was a possibility.

Like Sid, Mario and Michael Jordan?

Tiger . . . yes! But golf is NOT a TEAM sport.

Sportsnet is 100 times more reliable than Eklund.

But he's a risk worth taking if we lose Hossa. He's certainly better than Brian Rolston or any other player out there, other than the Hoss of course.

Cheap Seats wrote:I said this last night on our Penguins Hockey Buzzcast Free Agency Eve Show. I took heat, but I had a gut feeling on it. Look at the free agency crop, he is the only player who could put up similar number to Hossa offensively....and at a cheaper price.

Especially on Sid's line. He could do so much damage. If Jagr was able to put up the numbers he did in 05-06 and 06-07 with Nylander and Straka. I can only imagine what he could do with Crosby setting him up.

I can see it now..

Jaromir Jagr wins the Stanley Cup in his first and last 2 years.
