They should try to bring all the players up and have them all dig a ceremonial shovel full of dirt (they of course could then autograph the shovels and give proceeds to charity). I think it would be pretty cool if a lot of players showed up for that. They should also do a puck drop like the beginning of the all star games between Lemieux and Crosby (kind of a passing the torch type of thing, great photo-op). Unveil a new 3rd jersey same day (preferbly not the winter classic jersey, that was an event all of its own). I would like to see something new done up. I would also like to go back to the old black and yellow colors when the new arena opens.
Pizza Milano should be outside selling by the slice.
Any other idea's?
