Has anyone mentioned that the Bruins are looking to trade Kessel for a puck moving defenseman. Whitney straight up for Kessel?

Has anyone heard that Kessel and Crosby have/had a long-standing feud as to who was better? Why would you want Ego-Kessel on this team?

That's a silly feud and unless kessel is completely void of all rational thought would be put to rest quickly. Sydor straight up. Whitney with a first round pick.

It would take a lot to move whitney.

The Pens don't need another offensive-minded center. Anytime he's been tried at wing with Boston he's been completely ineffective.

It was mostly Kessels' Mom from what I read anyway!

But, I still don't want him on this team.

You guys wouldn't give up gogo for Kessel? Hehe. Oh my.

The way the team looks now I'd probaly give up Whitney for him.

He has played wing, and failed.

How much does Kessel make? If he makes under 2 mil then I'd do it.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

There is a reason why the Bruins are eager to get rid of him.

I hate Kessel so much...he reminds me of a more talented Tyler Arnason or Brandon Bochenski...he puts on a dazzling show for a few games, an opposing GM trades for it, realizes that it isn't consistent and then trades it off...

I said from before the draft that Phil Kessel would be a bust, apparently not, but I believe he will play for at least 5 different teams in his NHL career...

He's an absolute dynamo on his game...but he went ahead and left college too soon, so he never developed that ability to do things at top speed...so he's got top speed, top skills, but not always at the same time...he has a problem doing things at top speed and it really hinders his abilities to become an elite player...

He's also useless defensively, doesn't even bother...his conditioning could use some work, and he seems to have some sort of attitude problems, at least with some players...

Plus it always looked like he just dropped his 20 piece McNugget (courtesy SAS Wiki  )

Staal for Kessel, straight up. Right the mistakes Shero made in the draft two years ago

That emoticon is very appropiate there for sure...

Truth be told, Boston didn't want him and neither did Washington...Boston tried very hard to trade up and take Nicklas Backstrom to avoid drafting Kessel...

St. Louis passed, Pittsburgh passed, Chicago passed, Washington passed (and wouldn't take a 2nd and a 3rd (IIRC) to take Kessel over Backstrom) and Boston tried to pass...Columbus or the Islanders are next and probably would have grabbed him at that point, but for someone that supposed to be a lock for 1st overall in 2006, fell to 5th and very easily could have fallen to 6th or 7th...

No way in hell am I trading Staal or Whitney or probably even Gogo for Kessel. I just don't want him. He looks like a turd and hasn't impressed me at all as a player.

Now we're getting somewhere. So close to rectifying the epic fail that was drafting Staal.

There's 12 forward spots. How many Crosbys should we have and how many Malkins should we have?

13 of any combination of the 2 would work for me.
