Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
Wow, it was slow earlier but it has picked up fast...
I don't know if I can back a dagny salting so early. Plus, based on her time schedule, she wouldn't have even been on yet by the time all of the RP's posted??
hmm...since it's "random" i guess it could be anyone, but do we want to salt a good logical player who was pretty accurate last round?
MWB - is there a reason for salting dagny outside of bandwagon? Curious based on dont want to salt without them posting first....then she posts and immediately you salt her?

Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
The exact same thing goes for dagny. And as I recall from the previous games I read, dagny has a better track record.Troy Loney wrote:...i'm just responding the the "salt juice" he's trouble posts. I'd just say it would hurt us to off him already when he's more than likely a villager...he could be of great help to catching the slugs.
This piling on dagny strikes me as very sluggish. And it's better to WIN the game than to get it going quickly.

I get back from lunch and JC is throwing out random names. The ball already started rolling though, so...

Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
So I at least get a vote in, I'll go with the bandwagon starter.
You guys have two active, thinking players that you're going after first. Does this village ever learn? How quickly you forget what a piece of crap the game turns into once the actives are eliminated.
The player I'm voting for is always detrimental to the village, slug or not.

(I'm leaving in a half hour. Good luck village. Make the right decision.)

Based on Juice's posts, I may be convinced to back off of him (not yet, though), but I'll not go for dagny this round.

I agree with Juice and Dags line of thinking. The only other problem is outing a RP when we cast out more votes on multiple people. And if they aren't slugs, the slugs will eat them soon enough.

Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
so...who was the player who really changed the game last time? Wasn't it jay with his pie chart? If so, who would the slugs not want around this game?
not saying jump on his wagon...but i'm trying to think who the slugs would want with there one and only pick?

Senka was the one last game. The pie chart just outed WF leaving Canaan as the last slug.crayz wrote:so...who was the player who really changed the game last time? Wasn't it jay with his pie chart? If so, who would the slugs not want around this game?

Senka lol but they can't have him. It's tough to say who they'd want with their one and only pick because you don't know who they originally had. If it was more active players they might go for a quiet, if it's a bunch of quiet guys maybe go for an active to split it up. It's too early to try and piece that kinda stuff together because there isn't enough info to go on.crayz wrote:so...who was the player who really changed the game last time? fair enough...I still don't like the idea of going after dagny this early with no proof....why waste a salting on a good player this early.beerman wrote:Senka lol but they can't have him. ok I will go with Dagny's theory the one that started her bandwagon would be a slug it gives a little bit of cred to the first votedagny wrote:So I at least get a vote in, I'll go with the bandwagon starter.

Salting 'cause it's popular seems like a good cover for going along with the slug bandwagon against a villager.cup keeper wrote:Looks like its popular.

After forgetting him on the first page and giving him a crappy writeup in the last game, I'm going for an insult trifecta.

Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
Alright, here it goes.
Dags is always the one with the most input from the rational part of the game. We would discuss after games good strategy and who stuck out the most. With that combined with someone saying shes never lies, it also makes me to believe she could be lying, but I trust Dags for now.
JC always sticks out to me because hes one of the most active players, good roles, bad roles or villager. Hes always confusing people and flip flopping, no offense JC.
I think the best strat in the beginning is too nab a quiet one where as if they were a slug they would hide easily. Cup keeper voted once saying it was a popular choice to salt Dags, then faded. Good chance for a slug bandwagon, eh?
Also weary of NPV for being quiet.
But Im going with
Salt Cup keeper

Re: ** Slug Warz II - GAME THREAD **
ok so i've seen some reasoning behind a JC, & Cup Keeper...JC may have some promise - but it could also stem from last games JC vs Dagny constantly picking on each other in fun.
What is the basis of neophool?
