First Crosby waves a Terrible Towel, now this. What will outraged Steeler haters do?

I don't watch football, and I don't much care about the steelers, but it's good the sports teams try to support each other.

i smell something fishy....

i dont recall this ever happening before... is this possibly an initiative to get the Roonies to come out publicly to back the Isle of Capri plan!

I think it's a great idea. It's a public relations banaza. What better way to attract more local sport fans than by supporting thier favorite team.

Off course this may mean more Yinzers in the stands.

Yeah, it's a good move by the Pens for multiple reasons. They gotta get the Rooneys on board, and this can't hurt. At least it might embarrass the Steelers into making some official statements.

What they ought to do is figure out a way to honor the Steelers and still trash Franco at the same time. Franco's always been a guy trying to make more money with business deals, but this one is below the belt. He needs to pay the price for getting on board with Rendell and his crooked cronies.

They should all get Steeler jersey's made up with their names and numbers and wear them out for the pre-game warm-ups.

They should call Joey Porter and see if they can borrow all the #6 Notre Dame throwback Bettis jerseys they all had one today and wear those in warmups. Not really black and gold, but so what/ :D

I like it as well.

It does show support for easily the most popluar team in the city. (unfortunately. I wish the Pen's were the belle of the ball, cause all this arena stuff would not be an issue if so.)

Hopefully that support will be reciprocated.

If the Steelers win the Super Bowl, their word would be golden. It is close to that now. You have Big Ben or the Bus speak for the Pen's, and you can beat yinzer nation would fall in line.

Roethlisberger was in Mario's box last Wednesday. I'm sure if asked, he would have made positive comments about keeping them here. That wouldn't add up to much in the way of influencing the gaming board, but in terms of public opinion, it would be golden. :D

I wouldn't say that it is fishy. It could be a PR thing, but then again the Steelers aren't always in the Super Bowl. Many of the Steelers have shown support for the Pens by attending games etc. Just a nice thing to do....
