Spoiler:
WTF CLAY!!!!????

This is really frustrating! How could he not see this coming. Zobelle is way too smart to leave himself as open as it "seemed". There has to be a way to get this guy and I think it's going to happen in a totally legit way. Well, maybe not TOTALLY legit but he will at least be arrested on a major charge of some sort, guilty of it or not (he's guilty of plenty else for me not to care if the convicting charge is legitimate or not). I don't see him dying, but going to jail for a very long time. Henry Rollins' character on the other hand.....I see blood. :thumb:

Now with all the boys in jail, that leaves Gemma and the doc unprotected for the most part. Half Sack, Opie and his dad are still free at least.

Hale impressed me this episode. I'm liking him more and more. I never disliked him really. He is a straight laced, by the book cop. You can't really hate on a guy like that. I think that with the way Jax wants to move the club and the imminent promotion of Hale to cheif is going to mean a good relationship between the two. It's the best for Charming.

Looks like next week is going to be all about the Clay vs. Jax feud behind bars. I'd say they are out at the end of the episode which means no real moving forward against Zobelle for 2 more weeks.
I love this freakin' show!!
I got pretty ticked off last night.
Spoiler:
Jax and Clay both are being counter-productive. Clay is so set on getting his revenge, because Sam Crow is all about retaliation, that he doesn't he listen to Jax. On the other hand, Jax is so set on doing things the "right" way, that he's leaving the rest of the guys out to dry. I understand what Jax is going, but he's doing it at the expense of the club, and not actually for the club.

I don't think we really have to worry about Gemma and Tara being unprotected. Zobelle succeeded in getting the Club out of Charming, however temporaray it may be. Beyond that, those are some tough women, and I don't think either of them will allow themselves to be caught unaware again.

I do have to comment that Happy cracks me up. At the table, Bobby said about going in broad daylight and cutting off Zobelle's head. Happy's like "okay." I laughed about that. I also laughed and did a little fist pump when Tara and Gemma used Ima's car for target practice, and the way Tara brushed off the "gun incident at Caracara."

Gemma is starting to realize the weight of what happened to her, finally. She very nearly broke down with Unser at the station house. I really want her to tell someone... and I mean ALL of it, not just about the "cute blonde." Gemma needs a hero in all this.

Turning point of the season I think.
Spoiler:
The club has hit rock bottom and there is nowhere to go but up. Bobby was right when he said "They need this!" during the fight. Sometimes that can make things better. The symbolism (symbology? :pop:) at the very end was pretty cool. I think that Clay now knows the severity of Jax's knowing his involvement in the murder.

Looks like the Mayans are going to play a significant role. Not sure where that will go but I like it.

Like I said, I think Zobelle goes down in a legit way. I went from not knowing how SAMCRO could even get out of jail to seeing how everything can go back to normal. Which means that it will get back to normal but there will be at least 1 major blow to the cast somehow (death, kidnapping, runaway etc.)

Amazing.
Spoiler:
From what I understand, there will be death next week. Someone "close" to the club. Now, whether that means someone IN the club, I don't know. But thank god for Bobby, aka the voice of reason. While I agree that Jax and Clay needed to pound the crap out of each other, it actually made me sad because Jax was taking Bobby's advice, and seemed ready to bury the hatchet until he got popped.

Opie really ticked me off. The whole Lyla thing... while he did what he needed to do for the Club, actually being okay with a cokehead picking up your children because you can't handle it is bull crap in my book. I'm glad Gemma and Tara told her where to go. And speaking of Gemma and Tara, those two are making quite the team, and I'm loving it.

For those that watch SOA, what did ya think of the episode tonight?
Spoiler:
The last scene was awesome, and needed... Perhaps they'll actually go at Zobelle hard now

I thought it was a great episode. I'm sure there will be complaints from fans who have no concept of how to tell a story and tune in every week to see motorcycles, guns, and Jax's ass, but I thought it was a great, emotional episode that also sets up the potential for an awesome close to the season over the next three episodes.

My thoughts...
Spoiler:
I wept like a child last night in the final scene. I'm not much of a crier, but Gemma's story, and the reactions from both Jax and Clay killed me. It was beyond amazing, the whole episode. Tig tripping on shrooms and sobbing, Half Sack sitting in the curing mud was amusing. Chibs's situation is pretty heart-breaking, too. I do have to wonder what's going to happen with Tara. I didn't think a doctor could be suspended like that. There's no proof.

Yeah, great episode. It'll be interesting to see how they tie up loose ends in the last three episodes or how much they let go until next season.

Same here. And I'll also admit I cried like the girl I sometimes am at the very end when Jax did that heart-wrenching, agonizing scream.

I'm so ticked to have to wait until September of next year for more.

On an almost completely unrelated note, did anyone else think that FX's new show "Justified" starring Timothy Olyphant looked awesome?

Yes! I love Timothy Olyphant, for one. But that show looks like it's going to be pretty great. I also think I'm going to have to check out Archer. It looks funny in a really dumb way.

Just FYI - Season 1 didn't get released until 2-3 weeks before the season 2 premiere, so if you don't catch them online or on iTunes you may have to wait awhile.

Yet another amazing start to a season. This show never let's up and you certainly cannot let your guard down at all while watching it. These guys sure know how to end an episode.
Spoiler:
With Hale dead I think it will be interesting to see the dynamic between SAMCRO and Hale's brother (who appears to be running for county council?). What side will he take, the law or SAMCRO? They will both be going after the same group. Another thing Hale's death does is it keeps Unser as chief which is good for SAMCRO.

Stahl HAS to go down this season. It's the only way to resolve several of the club's problems. Remember that fight the club got into with Zobelle's men? They went to jail for it and are out on bail. That case wasn't tossed out or dismissed. They still have to deal with it as it only happened a few weeks ago at the most (in TV show time). Stahl has to play a part in clearing Gemma and the club of the charges. How that is going to happen, I have no idea.

Not sure if you saw, but the part about bail came up in the season preview after last night's show. It seems like they had the bail called back and SAMCRO goes on the lam. I think Hale's brother is running for mayor. I liked Hale's character, so sucked to see him go. He was someone who I kept wondering what direction he'd slide to as the show went on.

I think his brother is the mayor. It seemed to me like it be a bigger election. Are there primaries and such for mayoral elections?

Spoiler:
Truth be told most TV shows sign actors for 2 seasons and then have to re-negotiate between seasons 2 and 3. There were apparently 2 who did not want to sign back up...

That being said, nobody on this show is ever safe from death, jail or assault.
