Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
I've never been so sure of anything in my life that Malka is a goon. I don't care what you do to me, but please don't vote me off before this epic failure.
He knew he was going to get whacked. He threw up a hail mary and in the midst of it, caused a whole **** ton of confusion.

Count
kicksave - 3 (malks, zaro, mac)
malks - 6 (beerman, kicksave, redwill, sdm, shaf, count2)
Limit reached, writeup coming once I get home. Dont worry, I'm only a 2-hour commute.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
Joey Mullen - redwill

is putting the finishing touches on his new flag, which he plans on flying proudly outside his house:

"Man, this thing is going to look great. You know, I should go run it up my flagpole right now; who cares if its the middle of the night."
Joey walks out to his front yard, and begins to affix the flag to the rope on his flagpole. At that moment, two separate shots ring out, one from the west, and one from the east, and they meet somewhere in the middle of Joey Mullen's (Superstar) brain. Looks like some people REALLY don't like American-born wingers from Hell's Kitchen.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
I keep talking myself in and out of this but here goes:
waive shafnutz
The goons know more than anybody else so it is easy for them to manipulate the game by working together. Here's how I think it went down. Malkamaniac and irisheyes both avoided death in consecutive nights by protecting themselves. Malkamaniac took the opportunity to come out first as the superstar doctor. This buys him a day's worth of trust because no one is going to blatantly call him a liar and people will trust where his vote goes for that day. It happened in an earlier game with pavel bure. Anyhow shafnutz came in real late to try and stand up for irisheyes but the ball was already rolling and irisheyes was subsequently waived.
Now logic says that malkamaniac must go because he forced us to waive the superstar doc, but shafnutz comes in with an elaborate story about kicksave. Thankfully enough people saw through malkamaniac's crazy antics to waive him (myself not included
).
Now shafnutz's argument will be that he voted for malks and he can't be a goon, but at the point of voting I think there were three goons left out of the ten players, pretty decent odds considering the starting situation. A goon sacrifice isn't all that bad of a play. They now stand at two out of eight.
This may be an off the wall theory, but I want to get it out there before a quick vote happens before I get on tomorrow morning.

But shaf was also the leading force behind the two other goon findings. One would think he wouldn't have started off-ing off his own.cup keeper wrote:I keep talking myself in and out of this but here goes:

I really feel like we're way off base with who is left and it's probably someone who has stayed quiet the entire game, or played a very under the radar sort of game.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
This is probably the case. I'm not sure where we should start looking first, zarovich, mac, and count2infinity all voted for you yesterday instead of voting for malks. c2i ended up changing his vote at the end but both he and mac had a chance to come in and close it out earlier and didn't. In a way it almost felt to me like c2i was trying to help drive Malks conversations with the questioning, almost like he was just trying to set him up to get in that position he was in. Malks wanted to act crazy and wanted us to think he would've protected himself so that we wouldn't kill him. I just feel like he may have had help setting that up a bit.Kicksave wrote:I really feel like we're way off base with who is left and it's probably someone who has stayed quiet the entire game, or played a very under the radar sort of game.
