What will be slightly humorous is I would bet that if a couple more games were played "blind" like this with the roles and a game with the roles given at the start were to be played I'd say the town would destroy the bad guys with little to no trouble.Malkamaniac wrote:tfrizz wrote:That's what I'm wondering. I'd love to go back to the slug wars and recruiting and all that.

Hmmmmm he'd have to start with some sort of protection so he wouldn't have the chance of being killed instantly. Maybe allow him to recruit every other day or 2 days up to a max of whatever would make the game a ratio of 4 town to 1 non-town. Could work, and would be interesting.crayz wrote:Malkamaniac wrote:that could work with christmas.tfrizz wrote:

Santa the angel
Rudolph the investigator
Frosty the Vig
elves - the village
Grinch - mob boss
other evil christmas/holiday related chars
not sure how this would work, but if the mob boss could recruit his detective, doctor, and bomb...that would be interesting

People would also get better are picking out habits/behaviors of the bad guys, as well.crayz wrote:hmm not sure...bosses or whatever you want to call them are getting better and smarter in their tactics.Pavel Bure wrote:

maybe have 1 char with the boss, then he can recruit whenever he wants 2 more (like pick a detective late or a healer late)....or something. dunno, just thinking out of el boxoPavel Bure wrote:

I still feel kinda bad Juice didn't get a fair shake with that role. Killing people is fun. The power... THE POWER!!!!Zarovich wrote:Crap, I thought I had it. I was sure I could get kicksave waived and then when shaf started going crazy, I tried a subtle request to sdm and mac to vote shaf.
I wasn't gonna kill any the next night and hope shaf didn't kill me and use kicksave being a goon against him, vote him out the next day and then win.
Oh well, it was fun killing. I can't believe I targeted IE and malks back to back and then were protected!
I must apologize to Juice for ruining his chance to play this role freely cause it is fun as hell!

I went for as random as possible which was hilarious because when I met you at the game on Saturday night, my first thought was "haha - I killed you".crayz wrote:I gotta ask KS...why kill off ogie ogilthorpe ?!? Indeed you were, both the goons and SK.redwill wrote:I got the impression from my death write-up that I was double-killed. Is that so? If so, cool.
AND NOW THE NHL AWARDS CEREMONY:
Hart Trophy

Other candidates: Kicksave (great job as chief), Pavel (for nailing Malks/KS, even though people didnt listen)
Calder

Art Ross

Selke

And of course the Stanley Cup:

goes to the Goons, with Kicksave as Captain!

Re: NHL Wars Post-Game Show
I can't argue with the Hart, but not the Art Ross!
Zaro = Ovechkin
KS = Crosby (+1 championship)

The Serial Killer is so hard to win with. If you didnt get Shaf, I think he would have won. He played that role perfectly.Kicksave wrote:I can't argue with the Hart, but not the Art Ross!

But I told Malks you guys were killing it. In total, you were very rarely put up. Just shaf that one time. Well played by the Goons.
