I just looked at the list...who would you consider quiet?bhaw wrote:I'm gonna throw this out there one more time even though it is destined to be futile...
Let's take out a quiet person who has shown us absolutely nothing. THere's little to go off of, so let's get rid of someone who won't give us anything until we say "Oh yeah, I forgot ____ was playing." Then they chime in on day 5 after everyone else has been talking for 4 days.

I'm doing it because its a baddie tell.crayz wrote:

Your post seems too eager to jump on this because of a "strong" tell? Everyone is else is jumping on because...well....it's nan?
your post comes off red imo

Re: History Mafia -- GAME THREAD
It actually had two baddie tells in it for me...
the "woe is me, we lost someone" tell and then the whole "deputy/seer" thing.
I mean, I could be wrong...but, I hate people trying to glean info at night.

I don't necessarily think that you can call someone "quiet" in the game from one day. I didn't post at all day 1.

Re: History Mafia -- GAME THREAD
i personally think it's a little early to be voting off quiet people. the first round we had it done in a matter of hours as everyone knew THG was gone. This round has only been going for a little bit now, other than that it's all been night time.

Re: History Mafia -- GAME THREAD
Well, jumping on immediately after a write-up (or in this case, before a write-up) to bemoan the loss of a good RP is indeed a strong mafia tell. There's no denying that.crayz wrote:lynch redwillredwill wrote:Yep. It's a strong tell. The best we've got this early on. Good call jaysmiter.
lynch nan
Jay is doing it because nan spoke at night, not because it was necessarily a baddie tell?

The only problem is that it can possibly be a tell for a good RP, at least according to the mafiascum web site. However, I don't think that's the case here. nan hasn't made any attempt to claim a good role.
On a related note, why are you opposed to nan? I don't mean that as an accusation, I just want to know why you think we shouldn't go with him.

some people have a history of being quiet. it doesn't help for us to bandwagon 3 votes just "beacuase" and then have a bunch of people who can hide under "you guys went so fast so I just haven't been able to participate."jaysmiter wrote:I don't necessarily think that you can call someone "quiet" in the game from one day. MWB and Senka strike me as the oddest from my list of being quiet so far.

Dude...bhaw...it is way too early to start breaking out post counts. There are probably a lot of people without a lot of posts.

I always say it sucks when a good RP gets killed or voted off. Like I said, if anyone is stupid enought to further elaborate on that, they shouldn't be part of the village.
Oh well. Like I said, the wagon is rolling though. I'm willing to vote off someone quiet too this early in the game. If people are supspicous of me later in the game, then vote me off.
I personally think I could be more help than a quiet person, but that is up to you guys.

What is anyone supposed to say in the first two days? I've been in class/work/sleeping a lot. There is really nothing on the table for us to work with yet.

Re: History Mafia -- GAME THREAD
Dude... fine, so let's just quickly vote out 5 people and then realize we've killed 5 people and have 1/2 the village that hasn't participated. It's always made sense to get rid of people who have a history of not talking until late in the game but no one does it. Why? Because chances right now are equally good that NAN and someone like sdm are good/bad. But at least NAN will talk and we can make a determination. sdm (or someone like him) will lay low until he has to talk then pop up and we have to start fresh with him. Why are you so eager to bandwagon and end the first 3 days? With no talking, we are going to start day 3 exactly where we started day 2.jaysmiter wrote:Dude...bhaw...it is way too early to start breaking out post counts. I would prefer a CK or MWB vote to NAN, as they often stay under the radar as bad guys. However, NAN is NAN.
There's a significant drop off after that.
