any game, whether it has 5 or 50 people is at the mercy of its players. Save for very strict time limits, there is little anyone can do, and that really restricts who is able to play. So frustrating though it may be... just have to roll with it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last WW game reached the time limit on a late game vote despite having many less players than this one.
It only bothers me from the aspect that sometimes waiting for votes or PMs gets tiring... but that is a task you take on when you mod a game.
If the next person up wants to start their Signup thread, I'm not going to be offended or anything... but this story has yet to reach its finale.

Mods have been great this game, and i agree that the game play is up to the players. i'm just impartial to those 15-20 player games where everyone is active and deliberates.
i just think the big games bring more people in, i think a lot of people are on the fence about signing up knowing what their availability is, but when they see a signup thread asking for more players they put that aside and signup despite that.

I've actually really enjoyed this game.
I just wish people would vote at the end.
Although I was a problem since I wasn't really on during the weekend.
