And your recruitment would have failed regardless because he was green and thus unable to be recruited.Letang Is The Truth wrote:for the record, when we recruited jays, the deadline was 1PM and i sent it in at like 1115A

We can't help it that random.org hated the Others. I mean really HATED you.slappybrown wrote:Agreed. Some form of cash payment.Kicksave wrote:Dharma was given the game, the blew it. If anyone deserves reparations, it's the others (me and Slappy).
If you are seeking reparations, go talk to the suck that is random.org. If I ever mod again, I will pull names out of a hat before using it. There is a reason the same people are always RPs - even when you 'roll' multiple times on that site, the same people seem to end up at the top of the list.

RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs.Letang Is The Truth wrote:there is no such thing as random.

Thanks. Our goal was to take the roles and use them with Lost characters in a way that made sense. We couldn't really use all of the characters, so we added some of them via packages (ie. Freckles, Smoke Monster, Jacob). Even the packages played right into our hands with the Dharma Food Drops.shafnutz05 wrote:Very well thought out game....nice work!!
I'm going to add another "easter egg" to the OP... some roles/ideas which went unused.

Re: ***LOST WARS ANSWERS THREAD***
I'm back now, the situation really sucked for me. I found out last Friday about 15 minutes before I was supposed to leave for the weekend that I had to go to our company's main office in the state of Indiana. I had to leave first thing in the morning on Monday. I tried to stop in but it was pretty much impossible. I thought we should've taken the replacement player but Azkar and LiTT had a plan but the village started a couple quick votes on other people and the plan to sacrifice me just didn't take off. I probably could've put up a random vote or two in the late evenings once I got back to my hotel but it would've ended up looking bad and I didn't want to get those guys in a bad spot so I just stayed completely off the map.npv708 wrote:Has anyone heard from Beerman?wallflower wrote:No kidding. First cup keeper sent him the bullet proof vest package and then he got Jacob's touch. It was surreal.Azkar wrote:Oh, canaan should probably go out and play the lottery
That being said, random.org loved Dharma a million times more than the Others. Everything that could have gone in your favor, really did for most of the game. I feel that the beerman situation really turned the tide on you guys.
I, for most of the game, was predicting a Dharma win and it was close even at the end there.
I really wish I could've been around this was a great game,

I had no idea. Just thinking outside the box.wallflower wrote:I enjoyed NAN's Malkamaniac theories. I was disappointed he didn't have one for beerman's death.
As for beerman, I just htought he was mod killed because he was away, and no one wanted to show his role.

I actually mentioned very early in the game that I was green, but in a cryptic way. Did anyone pick up on this?

Great game, twc & wf. Just enough LOST flavor without being overwhelming, spoilish, or predictable. (for the record, unpredictable in warz games = win)
