Anyone else happen to see Brandi Carlile last night at Mr. Smalls? Amazing show. I've seen her three times and that was easily the best.
I was able to get a decent video of The Times They Are a-Changin' cover, which I'll be uploading later. I was dying to get a video of her cover of Mad World (incredible), but, some dude got thrown out for taping a few songs after I got the Dylan cover.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else went and also get the word out there about Brandi Carlile, who is hands down one of the best live performers out there.

Just found out this morning that Brandi Carlile has added another Pittsburgh date as part of her Give Up the Ghost tour (due to European tour postponement). This show will be at Heinz Hall with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. I am beyond pumped for this. Tickets went on sale this morning. I'll be dead center third row. This will be an amazing show and should be attended by all. Woooo

I do not know whether her music has ever been on one tree hill. A quick google search seems to show that The Story may have been on the show. That's her most well known song, probably.

Edit: Upon review it seems like someone just made some one tree hill montage set to BC music.

I think she's got the late 20's hipster look....that's when the hipster girls get too thick to wear american apparel stuff/urban outfitter stuff and switch to the t-shirt jeans things.

Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile's performance with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, June 30, has been cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances."

Ticket-holders are asked to contact the Heinz Hall box office at 412-392-4900 for a refund.
