I know, but I don't think there was ill intent. Unless the bad seer got lucky, saw dagny, and posted that random.org. Which obviously makes Mike look suspicious.Malkamaniac wrote:Malkamaniac wrote:Isn't killing off a Green RP a first day disaster? lolshafnutz05 wrote:Dagny, in our defense, we did a random.org. During the shift change there was a lot of commotion. Shafnutz was getting a little stir crazy and decided that someone needed to die (he was already in jail for life, so no big deal, right?). He asked around for suggestions. Someone rolled a 26-sided die and dagny's name came up (too bad her name was on all 26 sides).
Shaf led the charge into Dagny's cell as she was sleeping, and dreaming about someone. The suffocated her with a moldy tube sock. Upon further investigation they discovered that Dagny wasn't all that met the eye.

let's have a bunch of facepalms and "i told ya so's". even if she had time to speak she would have outed herself as a role player and the damage would be done. it's bad luck (probably like a 5/27 chance of picking a role player on day one), it's really not a big deal.

it is pretty annoying to bandwagon somebody who didnt even get the chance to defend themself. that being said, why the french did badhands vote for her after dagny came out as an rp. rookie move or calculated rookie move?Troy Loney wrote:let's have a bunch of facepalms and "i told ya so's". even if she had time to speak she would have outed herself as a role player and the damage would be done. it's bad luck (probably like a 5/27 chance of picking a role player on day one), it's really not a big deal.

facepalms don't help bring a green RP back. And then those of us that suggest waiting to hear from the bandwagonee are lambasted as slowing things down. It's a no-win situation...
Although I have to admit, that Dags, having claimed green but turned out red in some cases before, would have had people skeptical of her claim from the get-go. It's a factor of past game play affecting future games - it happens.

This is a good question. Or was it simply the rookie not seeing the green outing when casting the final vote ? (i.e. not refreshing the thread?)canaan wrote:it is pretty annoying to bandwagon somebody who didnt even get the chance to defend themself. that being said, why the french did badhands vote for her after dagny came out as an rp. rookie move or calculated rookie move?Troy Loney wrote:let's have a bunch of facepalms and "i told ya so's". even if she had time to speak she would have outed herself as a role player and the damage would be done. it's bad luck (probably like a 5/27 chance of picking a role player on day one), it's really not a big deal.

Gotta keep it legit. They probably only talk on here, and ignore each other in real life.newarenanow wrote:Aren't you two roomates or something.

Re: Prison Warz. GAME THREAD.
As I came in for my shift today, I was greeted by Azkar and handed the prison log. Apparently some things happened in the last few days that need to be addressed. I’ve planned a press conference this evening to address some answers. Questions need answers. And right now there are way too many questions and not enough answers…

Hello and thank you for coming. In the last few days a few crazy things have happened. The new inmates have been quite the trouble. Considering they drove in from Philly, I can understand why I hate them. But I have been informed of a murder within my walls. Yesterday it was a young lady on the night shift. Someone hung themselves. I guess we should have read the preliminary reports a little closer. What I am here to address is unrelated to the past. At lunch today, a riot broke out in the cafeteria. Approximately 45 inmates were involved, and it was broken up quickly. As it turns out, one was found dead. Face down. Bloody, beaten, and covered in red-skinned potatoes. It was clearly the work of multiple people. I’d venture a guess of a Gang. The murder is still under investigation. I do not like to use names of suspects. In a way it hurts their reputation. As for the murdered… we had to do a quick check on dental record, for the corpse was not exactly identifiable…
Spoiler:
Also in an unrelated event around the same time, a SilverKnife was found lodged in the body of an unsuspecting victim. With all the police occupied, it must have occurred in the chaos. Understanding where such a knife has found its way into my prison is another question. It was left in the body, and recovered by the staff. As for the victim, he was quickly recognized. One of the louder inmates; recognized by his pitiful tattoo on the center of his chest. We’re not sure if it was a hate crime or not, but one thing we do know…
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
23 Prisoners remain in Cell Block 11:It’s going to be tough to find much protection with him gone now, but one thing I can say… that Flyers tattoo is absolutely pitiful. I mean if he stood for the Flyers, we already knew he was going to lose. Even if he made It all the way to the end, he was bound to fail…
I hope I addressed you all clearly and correctly. I’d be upset if I messed something up or lied to you all. We are doing our best to get our camera systems back up and running to prevent future events, but with the rolling blackouts, it’s been a tough job. I’ll be holding down the fort for a while. The prisoners seem to get chatty on the night shift. Until I have more news, thanks for coming. That is all.
