I know I was either 2nd or 3rd- had Illinois pulled it out, I'd have won. Last year was a good year for me, so I'm expecting a disaster this year.
This year's bracket is tough. I have a bunch of guidelines for picks that I usually follow, but the problem is there's no team out there I really believe in like Illinois to get to the final game. I'm not really sure who's going to win, and that's a problem.

Gonzaga
Gonzaga had a really tough time in their conference tournament. They barely won their last 3 games against teams they should have easily beaten considering their high ranking. San Diego State impressed me late in the season and espicially in their overtime loss to the Zags. I see them beating the Zags in round 2 after they derail Indiana. But since I never win these brackets don't bet the house on that.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:Every year it seems like I have Pitt playing and losing to Gonzaga and neither team makes it that far. You think I'd learn my lesson and pick something else, but no.

You could technically have both since Pitt and UCLA would meet in the Oakland final, and Duke and Uconn would only meet in the championship game.jdev28 wrote:I would love to see that. Unfortunately, my mind is saying Duke vs. UConn.Bowser wrote:I'm hoping for a PITT vs UCLA matchup... I'd love to see how Howland and Dixon coach against each other. The score may end up in the teens.
I get the feeling Pitt isn't going to make it to the Elite Eight though... then again, I never thought they would get past WV in the BE tourney so who knows if the good Pitt team shows up.

I like BC's players. The problem is that Al Skinner can't coach. He's terrible, and they're going to gag in crunch time because of him. Just look at the end of the UNC game in the ACC Tourney, where they about blew a game they had locked up- turnovers, missed free throws, etc. They also played a weak non-conference schedule.

I have Kent State going all the way (Just kidding)
I'm really looking forward to watching the conferences. ACC, Big East, etc... Let's see who has the most teams left after each round.
Being the unabashed Big East fan that I am, I'd love to see the Big East have at least 32% of the Sweet 16, half the Elite Eight, half the Final Four and both teams in the championship game.
Of course if that were to happen, I'm sure the NCAA would put limits on the size of conferences in the future.
