Isaac Hays quits South Park!! : O

Im a fan of the show and this is BIG news to me! Matt Stones response is probably all true because Hays's character has been directly involved in ALOT of stuff that many uptight religious fanatics would call hate-inspired. I am a Christion ( I think? :? ) and I find the humor that attacks my religion funny as hell (which is where you'll find me  ) !!

That sucks. That's the beginning of the end, but they had a good run. What is it, 8 seasons? That's pretty good.

Im thinking this wont slow them down at all. In fact Hays was'nt even their first choice, they will replace him and make a joke out of the whole thing. If anything this will just give them new material and they will be ALL OVER scientology for now on! SHould be fun to watch.

I agree that Matt and Trey won't bat an eye, but the show won't be the same without Chef; he's to ingrained in the show for there not to be a drop-off with his absence.

I'm not saying the drop will be sudden and this will be the last year, but I do believe this is the beginning of the end.

I am quite a die-hard South Park fan, but I can't remember any episode in a long, long time where Chef actually was. Come to think of it, the last episode I remember him starring was the Japanese martial arts episode (and even there he just walked by).

I actually thought he had quit a long time ago, which tells me South Park will be fine (or at least they won't jump the shark because of Hayes leaving). As long as they produce gems like "Scientology", "Best Friends Forever", "Do the Handicapped go to Hell?" + "Probably", "Wall-Mart" and my all-time favorite "Woodlands Creatures Christmas Special" - I'll be watching

Yeah now that I think of it Chef has been AWOL for awhile now.

I laughed my arse off at the "Free Wilzyk" and "Robot Friend" episodes. "Faith Plus 1" had me rolling and I still can't get those songs out of my head lol.

Hayes just quit because he's a Scientologist and they made fun of his "religion". He was cool with mocking religions beliefs unless it was his.

I actually haven't watched the show in a good while... but you know that they will take shots at Hayes now... I could even see an entire episode on it. Like the Streisand (sp?) Godzilla thing...

I was thinking the same. I have no idea what series we're on over here, but I can't remember the last time I saw Chef in a new episode.

I'm sure the show will be fine, its far too good to go down because of this.
