Re: LGP Civil War!!! <signup in here>
that is a great idea. i'll give 3 hours. i think that is more than enough time. those time limits will only be enforced between 9-5 on weekdays though maybe? then make it 5-6 hours? if a dday vote ends at 11 PM i cant expect RPs to PM by 2am.

Re: LGP Civil War!!! <signup in here>
We might need to make an exception if an RP PMs a mod and says something like, "I wont be back near a computer until 9pm." If it's still day time when they send it would their PM count?
I REALLY like the idea but I think it might lead to a, "This isn't fair, I was away from a computer" argument. Then again, if you want to play you know the rules....

Yeah, use your judgement. Just post the time limits in the write up. If a vote ended at like 6 or 7 pm during the last game, we didn't make the next vote end at 6 or 7 am. I would just make it at like 11 or noon the next day. Give people coming into work about 3 or 4 hours in the morning to make their decisions.mac5155 wrote:that is a great idea. i'll give 3 hours. i think that is more than enough time. those time limits will only be enforced between 9-5 on weekdays though maybe? then make it 5-6 hours? if a dday vote ends at 11 PM i cant expect RPs to PM by 2am.

Yeah, if you play, you need to know the rules. There are some circumstances that pop up that you can't help. But usually other RPs outside of the baddies are on their own and know what they want to do when the vote ends.PensFanInDC wrote:We might need to make an exception if an RP PMs a mod and says something like, "I wont be back near a computer until 9pm." If the alpha can't be there, I would just say PM the mod and say XXXXX is going to PM our kill.

Like I said, you'll need to use your judgement.mac5155 wrote:i dont want it to turn in to the angel saying "i want to protect myself from here until day 6" either.
Senka actually sent us a PM last game pretty much saying that if he didn't get his PM in and everyone elses was in, to assume to protect himself.
So when everyone else got theirs in and we didn't hear from him, we just did that, protected Senka.
But with the time limits, not sure if that is different.

Is this a traditional civil war theme, or are we talking Crosbonauts vs Malkanites?

If it isn't this time, that should definitely be a theme in the future.the wicked child wrote:Is this a traditional civil war theme, or are we talking Crosbonauts vs Malkanites?

Re: LGP Civil War!!! <signup in here>
Then why not just have a 3 hour time limit?
If the alpha kills the angel and the angel still sends the PM in under the time limit it should count. The game shouldn't turn into a "who can be at their computer the most" game

what will most likely end up happening is i will just set limits and hope that people comply by them. if not then i will adjust accordingly.

Re: LGP Civil War!!! <signup in here>
Can i again state... I like the idea of racing PMs.
If bads kill the angel before the angel protect himself... then hes dead. it would force role players to be around and nights would be quick. then lets say the angel wasnt around for 3 hours, but all other PMs were in and he was dead, you can assume it wouldnt matter. It would keep people on their toes. I myself would struggle with this notion not having a day job at a computer but i think its a sweet dimension. many people disagree but its something if incorporated correctly could be really sweet. not saying yu guys should/have to.. just throwing the thought out there.

id say 2 in a row if yu were every doing that. lol but even if yu did that, you realize they would cool off if they missed 2 in a row... hence all that would do is gain them one bonus night.Letang Is The Truth wrote:idea: vig has NBA jam powers - three kills of baddies in a row he can kill every night (chances of this happening are low based on previous vigs)
