Re: jackman
Well, of course they won't get anything for him. We're the only team in the league with a vendetta out against the guy.ams wrote:there's no way the pens will get much of anything for jackman... and i'd rather not see him leave for nothing.
Teams will know we aren't playing him and don't want him, and they won't offer much up.
Seriously, whoever has the grudge against this guy needs a swift kick in the junk. There is NO WAY he is worse than Melichar, Odelein, Gonchar, or Cross defensively, and he's producing at a better rate than any of them.

My wife isn't as big a hockey fan as I am, so she is often doing other things while I am watching a game. A week or two ago, she sat down for a few minutes while the Pens game was on in HD. After a particularly horrendous Pens turnover she said, "Was that Jackman, because I've decided he's pretty useless."
It was actually Tarnstrom's turnover, but it just struck me as particularly funny. I've never even said anything bad about Jackman, she had just come to this conclusion on her own for whatever reason. If a casual fan can come to that conclusion, it made me wonder...
