Great game guys. A little different twist that made it difficult at first. YOu didn't know who you were killing.
Plus I learned a little Civil War History!

I was worried it wouldn't work out, but it did nicely.
who was the schmuck that copied Senka into a PM? If i had known that before senka said something, you would have been mod-killed...

I really liked this game, it was really interesting to try and figure out who was actually on your side and who wasn't. After a few days we had almost everyone nailed down to which side they were on, but it was a fun change of pace.

it seemed harmless but senka knew right away and refused to vote for you guys. it was honorable on his part for not ruining the game but it also put the confeds at a huge disadvantage.beerman wrote:lulz that was nanmac5155 wrote:who was the schmuck that copied Senka into a PM? yeah, that was rather awesome of Senka not to say anything.mac5155 wrote:it seemed harmless but senka knew right away and refused to vote for you guys. it was honorable on his part for not ruining the game but it also put the confeds at a huge disadvantage.beerman wrote:lulz that was nanmac5155 wrote:who was the schmuck that copied Senka into a PM? That was me. I accidently included him in one of the PMs. But the mods f'd up and he should have been dead the night before, so I think it all evens out.mac5155 wrote:who was the schmuck that copied Senka into a PM? If i had known that before senka said something, you would have been mod-killed...

Did slappy have any powers?
We were wondering if he was potentially an angel or something so we were trying to be really careful down the stretch of what order we took people out.
Did he have to be the last remaining to win or anything? We were potentially worried about that as well so we killed him before shaf.

Re: History repeats itself as the Union Army Wins LGP CIVIL
I think the confederates laid their cards down too early. They thought they had the 5 to 4 advantage, but forgot we recruited someone.
And that gave us an advantage in that I think it swayed slappy to vote with us to get that 6th vote because it would have been "tied" at 5 to 5 if the confederates really did have the advantage.
I was still unsure of a few players at the time, but that vote went down and it was obvious twc and cupkeeper were confederates. We knew Zaro was because we researched him.
So when Senka came up a confederate general, that pretty much sealed the deal.

pfidc got a bulletproof vest for one night.
zaro was a commuter package for one day/night phase.
the other 3 packages were opened by shaf, pfidc, and zaro again. they all involved having to post speeches made during the war by abe lincoln with all posts.
they were randomized each night so all living regular soldiers had a chance to get one every night.

Yeah, we didn't know that if slappy was alive if one army was eliminated, he'd win, so we took him out before shaf.beerman wrote:Did he have to be the last remaining to win or anything? We were potentially worried about that as well so we killed him before shaf.
Also, we killed Zaro that night phase instead of twc (knowing he was the last general) because we thought slappy may have protected him hoping we'd go for that kill to prolong the game.

not just kill, but target. i.e. senka looked at you the one night and should have died, but relantel didnt realize that, so he ended up dying the next day.slappybrown wrote:If you kill me at night, you die. Thats it. I had to be the last remainig to win.beerman wrote:Did slappy have any powers?

i chose not to use an angel either, so replaced that with the commuter and bulletproof vest. this was war, no one is protected

that's kind of why i let it play out. if you killed him at night, you still woulda won but you would have died.newarenanow wrote:Ha. Good thing we took you out during the day then!slappybrown wrote:If you kill me at night, you die. Thats it. I had to be the last remainig to win.

Re: History repeats itself as the Union Army Wins LGP CIVIL
We were really nervous during the cupkeeper vote.
We still wanted the Confederates to think redwill was with them, and also have slappy think that so he kept his vote. MikeEnIke was gone for an extended period of time. So we were worried slappy was going to switch before he came in to vote. We had like 50 PMs going.
Finally, that night he came in and ended it. That is when we knew we won.
Also, I told mac, when he said no one was participated, that because it was all generals left, most of the participation was in the background. At least on the Union side. We were constantly talking, but because 4 out of the remaining 5 were generals, we were all able to PM each other.
