MWB claiming to be Eric, and also the vig is a little confusing.

Eric is a vamp. So to me, I'm assuming the vamps are baddies. He could possibly be a bad vig?

I can see one of the cops (Andy or Bud) being a good vig.

I'm sticking with my vote on him. Something is not adding up.

wiki is helping a bit... Eric is in love with Sookie who is the main protagonist of the series. wouldn't that = Eric, despite being a vamp, good? I want as much info as i can get on these characters...

from what i read on wiki (reliable source right?) Eric tricks Sookie into liking him by having her suck silver bullets out of his body and consuming a small amount of his blood by accident?

if mwb was really bad would he come out with a vampire name? i would think he would have tried to change his name, otherwise it would be easy pickings for us.

i would assume that the book and show dont follow the same plot lines as is the case with most books turned movie/show

What do you mean?

I haven't seen season 3 yet, so I don't know if they are following the plot in the books with this story line, but I know during the first 2 seasons, some of the plots have strayed from the plots in the books and took their own direction. And my understanding is that as future seasons are written and filmed in the HBO series, their plots are going to stray further from the books.

Spoiler:

In the books, Eric loves Sookie, and in the early books, Sookie does not want Eric. However, her feelings change later and they become lovers. Bill is cast to the side as something is revealed in the books, and she no longer speaks to him.

It hasn't gotten to that point in the show (at least as of the end of season 2). So if Krafster is going by the HBO series, then I would think Eric may still be a baddie. If he is going by the books, and especially later books, he may be good.

But I think this is going to be by the HBO series since that is what more people are familar with on here.

So I'm sticking with my vote for right now.

I don't think you will. If you take away the names, it is still pretty much the same game. I think people may be making too big of a deal out of some of it.
