Spoiler:
They kill off main characters
Spoiler:
Truth be told most TV shows sign actors for 2 seasons and then have to re-negotiate between seasons 2 and 3. There were apparently 2 who did not want to sign back up...

That being said, nobody on this show is ever safe from death, jail or assault.
Spoiler:
I was disappointed when I read the guy playing half-sack didn't want to sign on and was looking in different directions. Really liked that character. I didn't know the actor playing Hal didn't want to sign on though.

I'm glad that Lem, from The Shield, is apparently going to have a recurring role. I like him.

Same here. I loved Lem. Still the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever gotten from watching a movie or TV show.

As for SOA, it was awesome as always.

Another great episode last night. Had to watch half of it with subtitle on because I can't understand when Irish people talk.

Episode seemed more of a setup for things to come than anything. It was almost like nothing happened but things did happen.
Spoiler:
It seems that a war with the Mayans is going to happen despite what Clay said, that's just how it works, "No we shouldn't kill him it'll start a war, oh **** someone killed him and it's blamed on us." the whole Gemma running from the law thing is a yawn to me cause they have no direct evidence that Stahl shot the Irishman. I also don't like the whole Gemma/father story line that's going on. The maid/caretaker ends up getting out, and then gets killed(IMO) but not before bringing ATF heat down on SAMCRO again. The Irish lying about Jax's son makes no sense either. Their guy **** up, their bad, return the kid. Especially when the guy who kidnapped the kid has been killed and his body is going to be placed so everyone knows he's back. I get it, they want to shoot in Ireland, it seems spread way too thin though.
That being said I def give this show a lot of line before it jumps the shark for me.

I'm going to have to start doing this--I can't understand a damn thing the Irish people say. I had to check out a recap on the internet afterwards to make sure I was up to speed on that stuff. :?

Loved King in that episode. Perfect!

Rather boring episode last night. Those are usually followed by a really good and fast paced hour. Getting some more back story on the club which is cool.

Too many questions right now about the Ireland/Charming connection

Yeah, i like the back story stuff, but not the plot line with Gemma's dad and killing that girl (aside from the King cameo).

Liked the episode last night
Spoiler:
**** is gonna go down with the Irish, the build up seems almost worth it at this point. Using Able as a bargaining chip with SAMCRO to kill Jimmy. However that will all but stop their gun running, this is getting good.

Yeah, I'm liking the angle with the Irish this year.

OK seriously now Stahl and the show is kind of irking me,
Spoiler:
She shoots people, and no ballistics are done to see what gun the victims are killed by? I mean really first with the Irish guy in the house a season ago and now with her killing an agent. I was willing to accept the safe house thing, but now she shoots someone else and no ballistics are done again? What the hell man, what the hell, not to mention the feds taking her at her word despite her track record being quite spotty.

The gun she used she wiped clean and threw - I don't think it was her job issued sidearm.

It's just so loosely held together. And yeah it was her firearm in the latest scene. Not to mention
Spoiler:
In the safe house when those people were killed the feds never thought it a good idea to see if it was the same gun that shot the girl and the Irishman they just accepted it. Meh, I still like the show just think that plot line is beginning to stretch way too far.

The season was a bit up and down for me. The constant kidnappings gets a little old. However, I thought last night's episode was really good.
Spoiler:
Nice to see Stahl finally get it. Her character was a bit over the top evil. She seems to be the only character that didn't have any redeeming qualities.

My wife and I are just happy it wasn't a cliff hanger ending. Could not have handled that again.

Yeah it was a very up and down season.
Spoiler:
I was to the point of super annoyance with Stahl. Thank God she's dead. Next season is what a couple episodes of them in jail, then the Russians are pissed, and Hale is mayor? New clubs to help run the incoming Irish guns? More kidnappings? I just don't know where this is gonna go, and that's not really a good thing IMO.

They've already setup....
Spoiler:
Jax finding out how his dad died. That's a season in itself right there. They have 1, maybe 2 seasons left and that will be fine. Jax getting the club to the point his dad wanted it to be is my hopeful outcome.

Spoiler:
Yeah, I don't think that'll happen(the club as his dad wanted it) as the whole show is a Hamlet setup of sorts. I gotta say, I hate the new prospects. Yeah they haven't been developed really at all but I just don't like them.

Spoiler:
I think next year pretty much boils down to Jax vs. Clay, old vs. new, with the club becoming divided between the two. Guys like Opie and Piney siding with Jax and Tig and the other big guy with the beard going with Clay. Kind of a rehashing of what happened after Opie's wife died. The battle against the Russians as the subplot.

Spoiler:
I think it all boils down to what Tara does with the letters. She might keep them secret or go to Gemma with them or maybe to Opie. Also, the club is going to jail for 14 months. Will that occur in between seasons or will we see some prison scenes?

Spoiler:
I don't think they do anything during the season with prison stuff. I think either they're prison sentence will have been cut down or they'll just skip ahead to when they're released. Although, now that I think about it, maybe they were setting something up in last night's episode with the Otto stuff.
