Back when I started it just used to be wolf games or whatever it was called.Admin wrote:Do you guys ever play a super-simple version of wars?
4 baddies
1 angel
1 seer
1 vig.
No recruiting or anything like that. Are you curious about jumping in?

Yeah, in between the more complicated games we often play the simpler ones. It's an outlet for us 12-15 faithful addicts and whoever else wants to jump in.
It's also a kind of training ground for prospective mods who want to do their own game but aren't familiar with the mechanics of running one.

The only thing I can tell you is to just jump in. It's hard to get into the game while reading it from the outside looking in.Admin wrote:Possibly.Malkamaniac wrote:Are you curious about jumping in?Admin wrote:Do you guys ever play a super-simple version of wars?

It is worth reading a couple different style games (or at least skimming them)... but yeah, you really do have to play to get the hang of it.
