So I am meeting Brenda Tinnen, GM of Sprint Center

This will be at a rather large event. 99% sure that she will be there.

I am looking forward to taking out all my frustration over this issue on her and am totally willing to get thrown out of this event. The "Xmas" comment she made still irks me.

What horrible thing should I say to her? Throw a drink maybe?

I would say the best thing you can do is be as knowledgable about the PA offer as you can... and she is she will debate her offer. I honestly dont even think you will get her to talk about it!

being a jerk wont do anything... be nice... polite... and slam her with facts that make the PA offer so great!

Take the high road. Inform her politely that she was out of line, and that many of us did not appreciate her comments, and that she appeared to be rude and condescending. Conclude that we do appreciate the fact, however, that with the help of KC and the Sprint Center that we are finally getting our new arena. We could not have done this without their help, perhaps.

You could add that before KC gets a team, perhaps she could learn to act more professionally, unless all they want is a minor league franchise of some sort.

If the Christmas comment was made about us getting a hockey team you would think it was cute, so chill out and don't give us a bad rep. Besides if the did get the pens, the would be an awesome present.

Tell he thanks for providing the leverage needed for THe pens to negotiate the best deal possible in pittsburgh. Without them, the pens would be paying 2.9 + naming rights

Maybe you should tell her that instead of worrying about getting the Pens for X-Mas she should be worried about getting plastic surgery, but do it in the nicest way to represent Pittsburgh.

You may want to ask her how KC plans on having a successful NHL franchise in KC with the '50% of revenue' deal, given that the NHL salary cap is already at $46 million. And if the team doesn't win and fans don't show up, will the franchise move like others have already done in KC multiple times?

But on a serious note, the Christmas comments were irritating, but don't act like a jag off. I understand how badly you would want to, I would too. Just act classy, and see if you can get her to talk about it. Then shut her down with the facts.
