Gauthier "draws" another 7 min PP for Philly

Gauthier nailed Lecavalier AFTER he scored to put Tampa up 5-3 w/ about 90 seconds left in the game and Vinny goes after him. Nothing called on Gauthier and they give Lecavalier the 2, 5, and 10 a la Andre Roy on Sunday.

No problem with the Vinnie penalties, but how in the blue hell does a player nail another guy after the play is over and not get something, anything?

Unfreaking believable... and yet at the same time, not all that surprising.

Exactly... how Gauthier got nothing I will never know, except that these are NHL officials we're talking about here.

I didn't have as big a problem with the hit because if Esche gets his stick over there Gauthier has to make that play. It was nothing similar to the Kariya or Turgeon incident. What I didn't understand is why he didn't get at least a 5 as well with instigator going to Vinnie the Vag. He swapped punches with him, that's a 5 right there unlike the Roy incident when Roy didn't even give him a chance.
