I know I'm getting ahead of myself with this game just getting started, but I'm a huge history junkie and I would maybe like to get one of those going after seeing the Civil War thread.

Maybe one based on WWII or something. I really don't want to mod it because I'm inexperienced and I like playing better anyway, but I think it would be a cool idea.

Re: Mod Sign-up Thread
You could always co-mod someone else's, even if it's one of the no-frills quick filler games. It's a good way to learn more about the mechanics, from a behind-the-scenes point of view.Bob Cole's Senility wrote:Maybe one based on WWII or something. When do we want to start the Snatch Wars sign up? Are people getting bored and need a break?

I'm up for another game, hopefully it's a tad more climatic than the Super Mario Bros one.

It was so anti-climactic, that I didn't even feel like spelling the word correctly.canaan wrote:climatic....does that involve climato (sic) juice?Bob Cole's Senility wrote:I'm up for another game, hopefully it's a tad more climatic than the Super Mario Bros one.

Right now I am sort of working on a game for the movie "The Longest Yard". I've never modded a game so I would need a co-mod and I wouldn't be able to run it until December sometime when I am on semester break.

I reccommend co-modding another game with someone first just to get a taste of the modding side. It helps greatly to get a feel for how things are supposed to work.pittsports87 wrote:Right now I am sort of working on a game for the movie "The Longest Yard". I was planning on it, it is mostly just preliminary stuff I got now for my game.the wicked child wrote:I reccommend co-modding another game with someone first just to get a taste of the modding side. Re: Mod Sign-up Thread
If people want to play a quick game (Werewolf) next week before Thanksgiving, I can put up a sign-up thread after the Pens game tonight. The game would start Monday. ps87 can co-mod with me if he likes.
Or if someone wants to start a bigger game, that's fine, too.

Not sure if I can play, but a quick game next week is probably the best idea with someone planning a real game to start the following week.

Yes!!! That would be too freaking awesome. In the meantime, it would be cool for a short werewolf game.relantel wrote:BCS, how about Con Air?

Can someone post a list of upcoming games? I was hoping to setup a Godfather Wars after Thanksgiving sometime and I want to see where that fits in.

Re: Mod Sign-up Thread
Jellyfish Invasion 2 will ring in the new year. Beyond that there isn't anything definite I'm aware of.
Relantel was working on a 1776 game but haven't heard much since.
Might be time for a change in managing this thread since ol ks keeps getting vacations.

Re: Mod Sign-up Thread
Would anyone be opposed to me starting Godfather Wars after Thanksgiving? Based on how I have things configured I will need a large pool of participants. 25 will be necessary and 30 would be ideal. I can see if that is possible before I commit to a start date.
