PG Penguins Notebook contains the following blurb at the bottom:

First-year linesmen will be paid $95,000, with the most experienced earning up to $190,000. Also part of the contract is a stipulation for mandatory helmets for all on-ice officials starting next season
Captain Hairdo cannot be happy about this. Unless of course, the league is giving him a special examption because his hair is more impact resistant than any hockey helmet known to man.

Those salary levels make me ill! Knowing they get payed that much to screw up so bad... ARGH!

Yes, but in your sons case, *he's* right.
