Ever since Doc bailed and didn't do the final write-up for the Attitude game, it seems like nothing has gone right for this forum. Rel and I can't get 25 for 1776 Warz and the game I was planning on setting up went nowhere and had to be canceled. Are we going to have a 1940 type situation on our hands now?

DocEmrick. He used to post here a ton, but quit because he found that the board was too stressful and it induced Adderall binges.

Ah, yes. I now remember you spreading that info all over the board.

No one will sign up for a new warz game when the previous one hasn't ended...
In all reality, we need an old school shake up to get people interested. I blame this on Covidae.

25 people in a 4 day sign up period (over the weekend)...
Try advance date and longer signups.

I know I am more reluctant to do warz game because they are just one after another. When I joined in they were once every few weeks, and people would participate more.

I think the non-players are the bane of WW. There is no game w/o dialogue. And if you don't plan on talking then whats the point of joining? It's not like only those who 'sign-up' get to read and follow along. Not to mention we end up spending a good portion of the game calling out NP's. Which are usually blue.

Wolfsbane?
I think a bigger downer than non-talkers is slow RPs. Nothing is more demoralizing than having a really exciting day phase followed immediately by a night phase that's 8 or 10 hours long. These vast periods of inactivity seem always to happen in the middle of a boring work day, adding to the frustration.
There have been a couple attempts to regulate this, but it still happens.

Agreed.
Btw-nice work as the seer in 1776. Nabbing the Alpha is well worth revealing urself.
